Last call to register for Skechers Walk!  HVPTO handed over our Spotlight to our friends at HBEF this week to tell you how to get yourself registered for this Sunday’s walk.  It is “easy” money for our District as HBEF typically gets back 3 times the amount of each registration fee!

In other news… while you are online registering for Skechers, hop on over to Carnival Central and volunteer at the not-to-be-missed event of the year, HVPTO’s annual Halloween Carnival!

As we finish up the first month of school, keep an eye out for announcements about our very busy October!  From the Skecher’s Foundation Friendship Walk to HVPTO’s annual Halloween Carnival to the ever popular Family Portraits at the Pier Fundraiser, October is a blast! 

Kicking off October – this Friday is Picture Day at Valley and we are celebrating National Custodian Day.  If you see one of our amazing maintenance staff, be sure to thank them for their hard work keeping our schools clean and safe!

And, before we hit October, you have until Thursday to be entered in a drawing/participating in class competitions for donating to HBEF’s Annual Giving competition.
