About the Hermosa View, Vista & Valley
Parent Teacher Organization
The Hermosa View, Vista & Valley Parent Teacher Organization (HVPTO) is a 501 (c) (3) charitable non-profit organization that was established to support and promote academic excellence in our schools by encouraging involvement from our school and town communities.
All parents and guardians who have a child enrolled in and all teachers currently employed by the Hermosa Beach City School District are automatically members, without ever having to pay a fee.
The monies collected through HVPTO’s events and activities are distributed directly and immediately to benefit our students with classroom materials, field trip transportation, school assemblies, library books, staff appreciation and much more.
HVPTO has combined monthly meetings with HBEF that all members are welcome to attend. Meeting dates for 2024-2025 are: October 15 & December 17, 2024 and February 18, April 22 & June 10, 2025.
Our Mission
The purpose of HVPTO is to enhance and enrich the educational experience of Hermosa View, Hermosa Vista & Hermosa Valley students by encouraging parent and teacher participation and developing a closer connection with the community.
