The countdown is on!  And, for our 8th graders, their 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony and Dance are this Friday, June 17th!

For many years, the Hermosa schools libraries have been favorite spots for all of our students and both HBEF and HVPTO are honored to support the library program (HBEF) and the library spaces & materials (HVPTO).  Next school year, the Hermosa Beach City School District will complete the majority of their Measure S facility work with the reopening of Hermosa View School.  That means 3 campuses with 3 libraries serving our students and our libraries need books!  HVPTO is honored to be partnering with HVS librarian Ms. Meyers to help stock our library shelves.  Ms. Meyers has set up a Donors Choose project and an Amazon Wishlist… and, with every donation made, HVPTO will match funds up to $10,000!

Our friends at HBEF send our community a giant THANK YOU!  Hearts of Hermosa this past Saturday was a great success and HBEF thanks everyone who sponsored the event, donated an item, volunteered, attended and/or made a purchase  – you ALL contributed to helping HBEF raise much needed funds for our District!

First and foremost… THANK YOU!!  Our 7th Annual Dolphin Dash was a MASSIVE success this past Saturday – we’ve raised $111K and counting!  Thanks to everyone registered, shared and dashed!  And extra special thanks to our committee, sponsors and partners – click below to see everyone who helped!

Dolphin Dash is HERE!! Please join us this Saturday, April 30th at the Hermosa Beach Pier for the first ever Dolphin Dash at the Beach!  We will be jogging along The Strand as we raise money for our schools.
