It’s Dolphin Dash time!!!  Vista students get their jog-on this Wednesday, while our littlest Dolphins at View dash on Thursday.  And rounding out our week of running, Valley students race on Friday. We are just 16% away from our $100,000 goal! Families can still register their students and share their Pledgestar links for incentives. The Dolphin Dash is back! Starting April 2nd, students from Hermosa View, Vista, and Valley can participate in this exciting fundraiser to support our schools. With a goal of $100 per student, this event is crucial for HVPTO, providing 45% of our annual budget. Register now on Pledgestar and earn rewards! We are coming into Spring and it’s Party Time in HBCSD!

First up – with the kiddos – join us for HVPTO’s Family Fun Night – Silent Disco Party on this Thursday, March 6th from 4:30-7:30pm at Hermosa Valley School! Dress in neon and immerse in a night filled with dancing, food, and fun! Buy your tickets by March 4th for a special price, or at the door after. We also need volunteers for this exciting event!

Also available this week – the first “round up” of HBEF’s Hearts of Hermosa Flash Parties are now sale! These smaller scale parent parties are not to be missed!

Get ready for a week of literary excitement as we celebrate Read Across America from March 3rd-7th! This event will feature renowned authors and special guests, including Mark Feuerstein and Adam Gidwitz, who will inspire our students to dive into the world of reading. It’s a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together and foster a love for literature!

And don’t miss out on HVPTO’s Family Night on March 6th – this year, we are getting groovy with our Neon Nights Silent Disco.  This event is aimed at all our students and their families to come join us for a night of togetherness and DANCING!

HVPTO is proud to spotlight our educational partner, Young at Art (YAA).  YAA is a vital, parent-volunteer-led arts program that enriches the education of students in our community. By collaborating with local schools, YAA fills the art instruction gap with unique lessons taught by dedicated docents. This year, we are proud to have 90+ volunteers making a difference in the lives of our children through art. Join us in supporting this initiative that fosters creativity and well-being!
