HVPTO is proud to join the HBCSD in celebrating Read Across America week. RAA is an annual reading motivation and awareness program whose goal is to build a nation of readers and to inspire every child to celebrate reading.

Have your student join in on the fun!  Spirit Days for the week are:

Monday – Cat in the Hat – Wear your favorite hat & stripes
Tuesday – Fox in Socks – Wear crazy, fun or mismatched socks
Wednesday – Green Eggs and Ham – Wear green clothes and accessories
Thursday – Oh, the Place You’ll Go – Wear your favorite college jersey or favorite t-shirt from a vacation destination.
Friday – Read Across America – Wear your spirit wear, favorite sunglasses, and bring your favorite book to school. Community reading ambassadors visit today.
