HVS Surf Report Spotlight
“HVPTO knows there is nothing “normal” about our “new normal”. It’s been a struggle for all of us. But we do know our kids’ school days are made a bit better because of the wonderful online programs (like BrainPOP and Scholastic) they’re able to access. Or because of our teacher’s ability to Zoom with no time limits. Or the fun and engaging lunch clubs that are still happening virtually. Did you know that these are just some of the things that HVPTO funds each year?
Since its introduction 7 years ago, the Dolphin Dash has grown to become HVPTO’s largest fundraiser, with the Halloween Carnival following closely behind. Together both events have raised well over $100,000 a year while engaging our kids, families and the community in memory-making fun. And all that money goes right back to our schools to give our kids and teachers the extras they deserve. But this year is obviously different, we missed the last Dolphin Dash and Halloween Carnival, so we need everyone’s help now more than ever. HVPTO is still paying for so many awesome programs, but unfortunately, we haven’t been able to rely on the same fundraising events.
Luckily this year’s Dolphin Dash officially kicks off TODAY! Every donation (and share) counts, so please continue sharing your link on social media with the tag #HVSDolphinDash2021.
