DESCRIPTION:HVPTO is looking for artists to help commemorate Hermosapalooza\, a showcase event celebrating Hermosa’s musical heritage!\n\nHermosapalooza will be held in May 2024 and feature student and parent rock bands\, and HVPTO is looking for Valley student artists to submit original artwork for event marketing and merchandise.\n\nStudents may submit more than one entry. Each submission should be sized 8 1/2 by 11\, may be either black & white or color\, and should celebrate Hermosa and its musical heritage. Entries should be submitted to Valley Art Teacher\, Ms. Ripley\, no later than Wednesday\, December 20\, accompanied by the form below.\n\nValley Student Council members will select one or more of these entries to commemorate the event on souvenir posters and apparel to raise funds for HVPTO. We will feature books for ALL students K-4 from Monday\, December 4th to Friday\, December 8th at the View Library. \nView students will get a chance to visit the book fair with their class during regular library time. Mrs. Hanley\, View Librarian\, has asked for parent volunteers during this classroom preview. If you are interested in helping during school hours\, please find your class library time and sign up HERE. \nThe book fair will be open after school during select hours for EVERYONE\, including a Pajama Party and story time with Mrs. Hanley in the View Library on Thursday.
